Day 2 (Thu) Japan/Beijing
Upon arrival you will be met

Day 3 (Fri) Beijing
A full-day city tour today visits
the Forbidden City, Summer Palace, the Temple of Heaven and Tiananmen
Square. Tonight enjoy a Peking duck dinner followed by Beijong Opera

Day 4 (Sat) Beijing
Today you will visit the Great Wall and Ming
Tombs. (B,L)
Day 5 (Sun) Beijing/Yichang
Transfer to the airport for your flight to
Yichang. Upon arrival and after dinner, transfer to the Orient Royal China Cruise ship and begin
your journey up the Yangtze River. (B,L,D)
Day 6 (Mon) Cruise
(Sandouping)
Pass through the Xiling Gorge East. Visit
Sandouping, the site of the Three Gorges Dam. When completed in 2008, it
will be the largest dam in the world. This evening enjoy
the captain's welcome party. (B,L,D)
Day 7 (Tue) Cruise (Wushan)
Pass through the Xiling Gorge West, Qutang and
Wu Gorges. At Wushan, enjoy a boat ride on the Shennong Stream. For
many, this is the highlight of the cruise, where, if you are lucky you
can see migrating sturgeon in the clear waters. (BL,D)
Day 8, (Wed) Cruise, (Shaibaozhai)
Today's shore excursion takes you to Shibaozhai, gem of Chinese
architecture. There you will find an 11 story-high red wooden pavilion
built against a protruding rock with sheer cliffs on the north bank
overlooking the Yangtze.
Day 9 (Thu) Chongqing/Xian
Disembark the cruise after lunch
and transfer to the airport for your
flight to Xian. On arrival, transfer to the GRAND MERCURE HOTEL

Day 10 (Fri) Xian
Today's full-day tour includes the Big Wild
Goose Pagoda, the City Wall and the tomb of the Emperor Qin Shi Huang Di
with its terra cotta army and the Shaanxi Provincial Museum. Tonight enjoy a Tang Dynasty dinner and

Day 11 (Sat) Xian/Guilin
Transfer to the airport for your flight to
Guilin. Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel. THE
WATER FALL HOTEL (B,L)
Day 12 (Sun) Guilin
A full-day tour today includes a cruise along
the Li River. Dinner tonight at a local restaurant. (B,L,D)
Day 13 (Mon) Guilin/Guangzhou/Hong Kong
Transfer to the airport for your flight
to Guangzhou. Sightseeing as time permits before boarding a train to
Hong Kong. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to the GREAT
EAGLE HOTEL (B,L)
Day 14 (Tue) Hong Kong
A morning tour visits Victoria Peak,
Repulse Bay, Aberdeen Fishing Village and Stanley Market. (B)
Day 15 (Wed) Hong Kong
Today

Transfer to the airport for your Cathay
Pacific flight home
