Day 1(Wed) Depart North America
Fly via All Nippon Airways. Cross
the international date line.
Day 2 (Thu) Japan/Beijing
Upon arrival you will be met
and transferred to your hotel, RENAISSANCE BEIJING HOTEL or PARK PLAZA

Day 3 (Fri) Beijing
A full-day city tour today visits
the Forbidden City, Summer Palace, the Temple of Heaven and Tiananmen
Square. Tonight enjoy a Peking duck dinner followed by Beijong Opera
performance. (B,L,D)
Day 4 (Sat) Beijing
Today you will visit the Great Wall and Ming
Tombs. (B,L)
Day 5 (Sun) Beijing/Yichang
Transfer to the airport for your flight to
Yichang. Upon arrival and after dinner, transfer to the Orient Royal China Cruise ship and begin
your journey up the Yangtze River. (B,L,D)
Day 6 (Mon) Cruise
(Sandouping)
Pass through the Xiling Gorge East. Visit
Sandouping, the site of the Three Gorges Dam. When completed in 2008, it
will be the largest dam in the world. This evening enjoy
the captain's welcome party. (B,L,D)
Day 7 (Tue) Cruise (Wushan)
Pass through the Xiling Gorge West, Qutang and
Wu Gorges. At Wushan, enjoy a boat ride on the Shennong Stream. For
many, this is the highlight of the cruise, where, if you are lucky you
can see migrating sturgeon in the clear waters. (BL,D)
Day 8, (Wed) Cruise, (Shaibaozhai)
Today's shore excursion takes you to Shibaozhai, gem of Chinese
architecture. There you will find an 11 story-high red wooden pavilion
built against a protruding rock with sheer cliffs on the north bank
overlooking the Yangtze.
Day 9 (Thu) Chongqing/Xian
Disembark the cruise after lunch
and transfer to the airport for your
flight to Xian. On arrival, transfer to the GRAND MERCURE HOTEL
Hotel. (B,L)
Day 10 (Fri) Xian
Today's full-day tour includes the Big Wild
Goose Pagoda, the City Wall and the tomb of the Emperor Qin Shi Huang Di
with its terra cotta army and the Shaanxi Provincial Museum. Tonight enjoy a Tang Dynasty dinner and
culture show. (B,L,D)
Day 11 (Sat) Xian/Jiuzhaigou
Transfer to the airport for your flight to
Jiuzhaigou. Upon arrival, be met and and transferred to the Sheraton
Hotel.
Enroute visit Huanglong. (B,L,D)
Day 12, (Sun) Jiuzhaigou/Chengdu
A full day tour of Jiuzhaigou including visits
to the Panda Lake, Peacock River, and Nourilang Waterfall. (B,L,D)
Day 13 (Mon) Jiuzhaigou/Chengdu
Transfer to the airport for your flight to
Chengdu. Upon arrival transfer to the Jinjiang Hotel. (B,L,D)
Day 14 (Tue) Wolong
Drive to Woling Nature Reserve to visit the
Panda Breeding Center. Enroute visit the Dujiangyan Irrigation System.
Drive back to Chengdu after dinner (B,L,D)
Day 15 (Wed) Chengdu/Shanghai
Transfer to the airport for your flight to
Shanghai. On arrival, transfer to the JC Mamdarin Hotel. (B,L)
Day 16 (Thu) Shanghai
Full day tour to Jade Buddha Temple, Yu Garden,
Shanghai Art Museum and the Bund. Tonight enjoy a Chinese dinner
followed by an acrobatic performance. (B,L,D)
Day 17 (Fri) Shanghai/US
Transfer to the airport for your flight home.
*Optional extension to Hong Kong is
available.
*Passengers returning to Honolulu and
Washington, Dulles, will take ANA and return home the next day
