"The East Coast Tour"

Boston, New York City, Philadelphia, Washington, D.C.

We are proud of our East Coast Tour, which has now been in operation for 35 years. We are grateful to the many teachers who participate each year on our tours. We are one the few tour companies who books downtown hotels. You cannot fully experience Manhattan if you stay in New Jersey!.......... Joanna Cameron

This is what we do - please join the fun!  

Day 1 - Boston 

Early arrival in Boston as we book the red eye. Meet tour leader and proceed to John F. Kennedy Library or USS Constitution. Walk along the Freedom trail to see the Old North Church and Copp's burial ground. Day 2 - Boston 

Sightseeing tour of the city to include a walk in Beacon Hill, the Capitol, Harvard, Quincy Market, "Cheers Bar",  Lexington and Concord. Afternoon walk along the Freedom Trail . Day 3 - Plimoth Plantation and New York City

Luxury coach transfer to New York City. En route we will stop at colonial Plimoth Plantation and tour the Mayflower and view the Plimoth Rock. On arrival in New York, check into the Edison Hotel and enjoy dinner and an evening walk to Times Square and the Top of the Rock. (D)

Guided city tour to include St John's Cathedral, Central Park to "Strawberry Fields", Lincoln Center and the shops and sights of Uptown Fifth Avenue. Downtown to Greenwich Village, Soho, and Wall Street. Evening dinner and either ESPN Zone for games (Middle School) or Broadway Show! Day 5 - New York City

Take the subway today to Battery Park where we board the "Statue of Liberty" ferry. See also Ellis Island. Afternoon free time allowed to shop. Dinner and Broadway Show (D)

Day 6 - Philadelphia/Washington, D.C.

Transfer to Philadelphia for a three hour stop to see Independence Hall, the Liberty Bell and the National Constitution Center. Onto Washington, D.C. to check into the Capitol Holiday Inn, located minutes from the National Air and Space Museum. Evening walk to the Memorials. (D)

Day 7 - Washington, D.C. 

Full day guided tour today to Mount Vernon, Lincoln, Jefferson, Iwo Jima, World War 2 andcameron mt. vernon.jpg (49188 bytes) Vietnam Memorials. Continue to Arlington National Cemetery for the Changing of thecameron jfk.jpg (42691 bytes) Guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and to view the Kennedy gravesites marked by the Eternal Flame. Evening theatre performance of "Shear Madness" at the Kennedy Center. (B,D)

Day 8 - Washington, D.C. 

Morning walking tour of the Capital, and visit the Smithsonian Buildings. Afternoon airport transfer for flight home. (B)
