March 20 (Thursday)
5.15pm ------- Group 1 meets at Granite Oaks Middle School.
5.30
pm ------- Depart on chartered coach for San Francisco Airport.
8.00pm ------- Check in at United Airlines, UA#180 departs SFO at 10.10pm and arrives in Boston at 6.39am. Meet Joanna Cameron and Plymouth and Brockton buses.

6.00pm ------- Group 2 meets at Sacramento Airport, United Airlines counter for UA#6475 departs at 8.09pm and arrives in Los Angeles at 9.44pm. Change to UA#166 departs LAX at 10.45am and arrives in Boston at 7.02am.

March 21 (Friday)
Early arrival in Boston. Sightseeing today to the USS Constitution, the Ship Museum, Bunker Hill and we will walk along the Freedom Trail to visit Copp's Graveyard, the Old North Church and Quincy Market.
3.00pm ------- Check into the Boston Park Plaza Hotel.
6.30pm ------- Walking tour to the Prudential Plaza. We will have dinner tonight in the Food Hall ($10 stipend) followed by a ride to the top of the Skywalk for a superb view of Boston.

March 22 (Saturday)
8.30am ------- Meet our guides, Herb and Richard, for a guided tour of Boston to include downtown Boston, a walk on Beacon Hill, Granary Burial Ground and a stop for lunch (your expense) in Cambridge to stroll through the grounds of Harvard. After lunch we visit Lexington and Concorde.
4.00pm ------- Tour ends at the hotel.
5.00pm ------- Dinner at Fire + Ice (205 Berkeley Street - one block from the hotel).
6.30pm ------- Walk to the Charles Playhouse at 74 Warren Street to see "Blue Man Group"
7.00pm ------- "Blue Man Group" Showtime.
10.00pm ------ Walk back the hotel after the shows.

March 23 (Sunday)
8.00am ------- Depart for Plimoth Plantation
9.00am ------- Arrive at Plimoth for a  film followed by a walking tour
11.30am ------ Tour the Mayflower
12 noon ------  We depart for New York City. Lunch (your expense) en route at the Independence Mall.
6.00pm ------- Arrive at the Hotel Edison in Times Square and check in
7.00pm ------- Walk to Applebees at 205 West 50th for a buffet dinner.
8.00pm ------- Time for some shopping on Fifth Avenue or in Times Square in counselor groups.
9.15 - 9.30pm ------- Arrive at the GE Building (home of NBC) in Rockeller Plaza to take the elevator up to see the view from the top of "The Top of The Rock".

March 24 (Monday)
8.00am ------- Board bus for guided tour of the Big Apple. Drive uptown for a walking tour of Central Park. Stop also at St John the Divine Cathedral ($2 donation please) Drive downtown to see Greenwich Village, Little Italy and Chinatown. We will also stop to see the site of the former World Trade Towers.
1.00pm ------- Tour ends. We will split into counselor groups for sightseeing and shopping.
4.00pm ------- Return to the hotel to change clothes
5.00pm ------- Group 1 has dinner at the Olive Garden (Times Square). Group 2 has dinner at Trattoria Dopa Teatro. We have tickets for several shows tonight, so the group will split accordingly. We have tickets for "Phantom of the Opera", "Chicago" and "Rent".

March 25 (Tuesday)
7.45am ------- Walk to 50th Street subway station. We take the #1 train to South Ferry ($4.00 needed for fare card)
9.15am ------- Catch the Ferry to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. Please note that  we will not be able to go inside the Statue, but will take a group picture.
12.30pm------ Shopping time at Battery Park before we subway uptown for our afternoon activities in counselor groups
4.00pm ------- Return to the hotel to change clothes
5.00pm ------- Group 2 has dinner at the Olive Garden (Times Square).
5.00pm ------- Group 1 has dinner at Trattoria Dopa Teatro (125 West 44th Street). There are three shows booked for tonight.
6.30pm ------   Group going to "Phantom of the Opera" walks to 247 West 44th Street
7.00pm ------- Showtime "Phantom of the Opera"
7,30pm -------  Walk with teachers to your respective show
8.00 pm-------- Showtime "The Little Mermaid" and "Rent"

March 26 (Wednesday)
7.00am ------- Bring luggage to the bus
7.30am ------- Depart for Philadelphia
9.15am  ------ Arrive in Philadelphia at the Constitution Center.
9.30 am ------ Enjoy the film and visit to the Constitution Center
12.00pm ------ Lunch at the Bourse Building
1.20pm   ------ Reserved tour for Group 1 of Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell
1.40pm -------- Reserved tour for Group 2 of Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell
3.00pm -------- Return to the buses at the Constitution Center and depart for Washington, DC
6.00pm -------- Arrive at the Capitol Holiday Inn and check in
7.15pm -------- Dinner at Vie De France
8.15pm -------- Evening walk to see the Memorials and the Washington Monument

March 27 (Thursday)
8.00am ------- Breakfast at Vie De France
9.00am ------- Board bus for guided tour of Washington DC to include the Lincoln, FDR, Jefferson, Viet Nam, World War 2, and Iwo Jima Memorials. We will see the Changing of the Guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and the Kennedy Gravesites
2.30pm -------  Afternoon visit to the Smithsonian Museum.
5.30pm -------- Return to the hotel.
7.00pm ------- Board the bus for dinner at the Hard Rock Cafe.
7.30pm ------- Dinner at the Hard Rock Cafe, 10th and E, NW
8.45pm -------- Walk one block to ESPN Zone for one hour of computer simulated games.

10.00pm ------ Return by bus after the show

March 28, (Friday)
6.30am ------- Breakfast at Vie De France
7.30am ------- Board bus for our trip to Mount Vernon, George Washington's home.
8.00am ------- Arrive at Mount Vernon. We will tour the house, grounds and exhibits.
11.00am ----- Depart Mount Vernon.
In the afternoon we will visit the Smithsonian Museums.
5.30pm -------- Dinner at Vie De France
7.00pm --------  Board bus for the Kennedy Centre.
8.00pm -------- Showtime - "Shear Madness"
10.30pm
------ Return by bus after the show

March 29, (Saturday)
8.15am ------- Breakfast at Vie De France
9.30am ------- Group 1 departs for Dulles Airport.
10.30am ----- Check in at United Airlines for UA#217 departs at 12.20pm and arrives in San Francisco at 3.16pm. Meet your chartered coach for transfer by to Granite Oaks Middle School. Arrive at approximately 5.15pm.
11.30am------- Group 2 departs for Dulles Airport
2.35pm ------- Group 2 departs on UA#395 at 2.35pm and arrives in Chicago at 3.55pm. Change to UA#577 departs at 5.32pm and arrives back in Sacramento at 8.04pm.

Parents will know in advance to which group their son/daughter is assigned. Approximate arrival times are 5.15pm for Group 1 at Granite Oaks Middle School and  and  Group 2 arrives at Sacramento airport at 8.12pm. It will be easiest to call your son/daughter's cell phone to get the arrival times or you can contact United for arrival time.
